Volkswagen Slovakia, an established manufacturer of top-quality vehicles for customers all over the world, has been performing accredited tests as an independent laboratory for external customers since 2024.

Together with modern technological equipment, we are a reliable partner for customers looking for material testing and examinations in connection with sound advice and consulting services.

As an independent laboratory certified by the Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) according to the international standard EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2017, we provide four accredited tests:

• Flammability Test (according to TL1010),
• Odor Test (according to PV3900),
• Determination of condensable components (according to PV3015),
• Lightfastness (according to PV1303).

In the Material Testing Laboratory, we also perform non-accredited activities, namely other tests aimed at testing the properties of automotive industry products, which can also be ordered. In addition to the materials already mentioned, we also analyze foam products, as well as glued joints and decorative parts.
