Since 1991, Volkswagen Slovakia has manufactured more than 8 million vehicles in Slovakia. The company is a key pillar of the country's exports and the largest private employer in Slovakia. It was ranked second in the Best Employer 2024 survey. Together with its employees, Volkswagen Slovakia is one of the largest contributors to Slovakia’s public finances. Since its establishment, the company has invested nearly €6 billion in Slovakia.
Volkswagen Slovakia manufactures ten vehicle models across four Volkswagen Group brands: Volkswagen Touareg, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Porsche Cayenne, Porsche Cayenne Coupé, Porsche Cayenne Electric, Porsche Cayenne Electric Coupé, Volkswagen Passat, Škoda Superb and Škoda Superb Combi.
At its Martin plant, the company produces components for transmissions and chassis systems.
